(NewYork.CityRegions.Com, October 18, 2015 ) VICTOR, NY - New York -- Some people sleep on their back, some on their belly, and some on their side. For many side sleepers, they look to place a pillow between their legs to alleviate any back pain. Jason Kay has been a side-sleeper for quite some time, someone who always placed a pillow between his legs while sleeping. He finally decided that instead of using a regular pillow, he'd try a dedicated knee pillow.
Jason, who is over 250 pounds, occasionally experiences lower back pain and also finds it hard to just use a thin pillow since his extra weight just collapses it. Jason decided to give the Med Sound Products new knee pillow a shot and was pleased with how well it worked for him. Jason states, "I usually am not sure if the pillow is going to be able to hold my extra weight and larger legs, but I didn't find any issues with this pillow's memory foam." Med Sound Products new memory foam knee pillow is firm enough to support the weight of larger individuals like Jason, but also is flexible enough that smaller individuals would have no issues making use of the pillow. Another subset of individuals who tend to carry more weight is pregnant women. This extra weight often translates to lower back pain, making sleep difficult but knee pillows that are firm enough help alleviate this lower back pain by properly aligning the spine.
Jason states that he doesn't plan on going back to using a regular pillow now that he knows this pillow exists. Another plus he found was that knee pillows, unlike regular pillows, tend to stay in place during rest, allowing an uninterrupted slumber, which is what everyone is looking for.
