(NewYork.CityRegions.Com, October 11, 2015 ) Ballston Spa, New York -- Christensen & Nielsen Trading has revealed the latest offering that will be added to their roster of premium products. This one, under the 'Henry's Best' label is said to fit into the industrial, as well as the home and facilities maintenance and even the arts & crafts niches. The product is a 9" wood paint paddle to accompany the 12" paint paddle launched on Amazon.com in late 2013.
"Back then it came as a surprise", according to brand manager Henrietta Bukke Nielsen, "that there seemed to be as many people buying the 12" sticks for craft projects as were buying them for their intended purpose. Since then, there has been a surge in uses for craft. Coupled with the upward trajectory in the popularity of chalk paint, spearheaded by Annie Sloan, it seemed the right time to introduce the shorter 9" paint stick", continued Ms. Nielsen.
"The new 9" sticks are purported to be a high quality, heat treated birch harvested in the northern states of Maine and/or Michigan. The quality means more to craft people but not much more", asserts Ms. Nielsen. "The coatings specialists that are the professional painters, (the industrial maintenance shops, the auto-body shop, ect.) need a strong stick that won't shed splinters. The craft people who build things with paint sticks require a strong stick, all of uniform color and shape."
According to Christensen & Nielsen's website Woodpaintsticks.com, there are a good many paint sticks originating off-shore -from China, usually. There are also paint sticks available in bulk made right here in the US.
Again, Nielsen: "WoodPaintSticks.com prefers the domestic product and the idea of keeping American foresters and mill workers gainfully employed and their families off the bread lines. Our hard working neighbors produce a better product than can be found anywhere off-shore. That is the reason I brought it to market."
The new 'Henry's Best' 9 in. wood paint stick is sold exclusively on amazon.com -in 100 stick quantities in packages certified as Frustration Free.
Nielsen is promoting the sticks ahead of the official launch. She has offered to those interested in obtaining a box or two, at an introductory discount, the great price of $2.00 -down from $15.95.
She offers, to those who may wonder why she'd give them away for $2, "whenever we launch a new product on Amazon, we need to generate some product reviews from among our customers.
There is no requirement to leave a review to take advantage of the special discount, of course, but we would surely appreciate it. And, we welcome all feedback."
The Coupon Code below can be used at checkout on Amazon. The offer is for a limited time only and there are 30 boxes set aside at this special price. The plan, according to Nielsen, is to offer additional, albeit less drastic discounts, when the product officially launches. "So, don't procrastinate", says Nielsen.
