New York Press Releases

(NewYork.CityRegions.Com, May 26, 2015 ) Long Lake, NY -- LeBlanc WellBeing is excited to announce they're adding a new facial moisturizer to their line, available the beginning of June. The Upstate New York company, highly regarded for their assortment of nutritional supplements and skin care products, believe they have a fresh new advanced idea on facial anti-aging care.
"The products you see around today use the 'soup pot' method for formulating their creams", explained Babette LeBlanc, CEO, pharmacist, and master formulator at LeBlanc WellBeing. "They toss a dozen or so ingredients into a jar and hope that one of them works for every customer. I really dislike that method, and as a matter of fact I founded this company on the exact opposite idea. I believe that less is more, I believe in formulating a product that contains only the most essential active ingredients, and I believe that I will best serve my customers by not wasting their time or money on fillers or fluff. And I certainly won't follow the pack by producing a cream that's just like everyone else. My people trust me to innovate and that's what I love doing."
The new facial cream Advanced Collagen Anti-aging Peptide Cream contains peptides and emollients, and that's it according to LeBlanc. "Peptides, no acids, no fillers, nothing silly. But not just any peptide, our collagen building cream contains a patented neuropeptide, AcetylHexapeptide-8 or argireline." Peptides are molecules made up of two or more amino acids linked together by peptide bonds. These same peptide bonds and amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. When the number of amino acids in the chain is about 50 or greater the molecule is called a protein, and smaller chains are called peptides.
"The way peptides work in skin care is neat." continued LeBlanc, "Collagen is a long chain protein that gives our skin thickness, suppleness, and smoothness. As we age, collagen which makes up 75% of our skin breaks down, forming smaller peptide chains. These small peptides are a trigger to the skin and prompt it to start forming new collagen. Therefore to battle wrinkles and aging, applying peptide cream directly to the face may trick the skin into replenishing lost collagen. The neuropeptide contained in our anti aging cream has one more trick that no other peptide has. It might block transmission of signals from nerves to your facial muscles, therefore relaxing facial muscles which is similar to Botox."
