New York Press Releases

(NewYork.CityRegions.Com, July 30, 2014 ) Flushing, NY -- The official June 2014 Consumer Price Index showed a 2.1% price increase over the last 12 months across a range of key items. This included a 2.2% increase from January 2014 – May 2014 in the cost of food alone, while things such as utilities including gas cost 5.5% more than they did in June 2013.
The new Woder 5K Refrigerator Water Filter has been designed to help customers save money thanks to an extended product life cycle that means it needs replacing less often than other brands. While traditional filters will need to be replaced around twice per year at an average cost of $100, the Woder 5K filter is engineered to last three years. With a six times longer performance, customers need to buy replacements less often, helping to reduce expenditure.
The filter, which has been designed in the USA, is compatible with leading manufacturer models such as LG, Kenmore, GE, Whirlpool and Samsung. This eliminates the need to buy expensive own branded filters, without sacrificing performance. Once installed, the filter will remove harmful toxins and chemicals from the water supply or ice dispenser including toxins like lead, volatile organic compounds, chlorine and mercury.
In addition to lasting longer than a standard filter before it needs to be replaced, the Woder Refrigerator 5K Water Filter also provides a larger than standard capacity of 5000 galleons (most standard filters can handle between 250 and 450 galleons).
Delivered with easy to understand instructions and John Guess (JG) connectors for 1/4" hoses, the Woder Refrigerator Water Filter can be installed in just five minutes. Customers happy to do the install themselves can follow the video install guide to fit the filter independently, rather than paying for a potentially expensive technician to carry out the task.
Steve Meyer, Head of Marketing at Woder, says "With statistics showing that the cost of things we purchase often is rising month on month, it makes sense to look for alternatives to costly items. The Woder 5k filter lasts longer than current market leaders, so it needs to be replaced less often, this means a smaller spend over a period of three years, which can help to offset price increases in other areas. We know that most householders will be keeping a tight eye on the purse strings so this is just one way to take back control and spend less on everyday necessities."
